There are two .avi files to view. One is in the saggital plain and the other in the lateral.

These films are made from CT slices taken at 0.3mm. Thus over 300 slices are made to make these images. The scanner is turned as low as possible to reduce radiation.

The Ct is then fed into complex software and beleive it or not the following images are made at a click of a button.

From these images you can see that the calcaneus does not move despite the foot being very overpronated.

Here we have marked overpronated feet.
Kneeling on a chair I applied thin fuse wire using tape at the top and three drops of superglue down the middle of the back of the Achilles as one marks the skin doing this “test” for over pronation.
I asked her to stand up after the superglue had dried.
She yelled out as the wire came loose from the skin, ‘the skin is moving’

I left the thin wire there and used a thicker fuse wire and taped it vertical using a set square with a spirit level to make certain it was vertical with the floor.
THIS photo is directly behind the left foot.

It is painfully obvious that these feet are over pronated.

Please remember the films are squared up for the left foot only.
